Hi Everyone,
I wanted to inform our audience that we will no longer be posting on our social media sites and blog as our marketing campaign has come to an end. My group members and I would like to thank everyone for their support about the topics we discussed. We had an amazing time delivering news about basketball and basketball shoes to you the audience. We hope you all the best in life and hope that our paths cross again in life. Remember ball is life.
Regards,
Boys of Basketball

Hey everyone,
I wanted to share with you an
original content marketing campaign for Adidas. The idea that I have in mind is
to take two of the biggest players in the NBA that is Stephen Curry and LeBron
James and pit them against each other. I would present the campaign on Facebook
and Twitter where I have the most followers. I would construct an infographic
that illustrates the stats of each player and put a poll asking who the
audience thinks will win MVP this year. This marketing campaign would be
primarily aimed at basketball enthusiasts who live, breath, and eat basketball.
It would target to people who enjoy watching basketball, receive updates about
the sport and possibly take part in fantasy basketball. This marketing campaign
would be time sensitive. I would launch the campaign near the NBA playoffs to
ensure that my followers on Facebook and Twitter see the infogram and it is
relevant at that time. My goal is to create controversy and spark a debate
about who would win MVP based on their stats this season. Moreover, my goal is
to generate 2,000 likes on Facebook and 1,000 comments. By pitting the two top
contenders for MVP against each other I believe that the audience would comment
about who they believe would win MVP, and why they think this person would win.
The audience would leave their own two cents about the topic and would also
bring their own facts to the table thus starting a debate about the two MVP
contenders.

When reviewing the last 10 videos on Reebok and Adidas YouTube page I
have observed significant characteristics about both companies. Adidas posts a
video once every two weeks; the purpose of the videos are to raise awareness
about which athlete is endorsing Adidas products. Adidas most successful post
is about double Olympic World Champion Jaqueline Carvalho a famous Brazilian
volleyball player. In the 15 second video Jaqueline is seen working out and
playing volleyball in Adidas’ apparel. In the description area of the video
there Adidas included relevant content to the video such as, who Jaqueline
Carvalho is, the music used in the video, and links to their other social media
platforms along with a link to their homepage. The video used keyword such as:
“Here To Create, Reinvent myself at ALL costs, Nothing can stop ME and Fear is
the enemy of creativity. The video received 3,013,871 views, 279 thumbs up, 72
thumbs down and 15 comments. In contrast, Reebok posts a video everyday and
sometimes twice a day; similarly the purposes of the videos are to show the
audience the athletes Reebok is endorsing and to show the audience the new
product that they are releasing. Reebok’s most successful post from the recent
10 videos is about Fer Casanova who is an OCR Athlete. In the description
section of the video Reebok included who was in the video and the product in
the video. The video shows Fer Casanova participating in the Metro Challenge
while running in Reebok Z Pump 2.0 shoes. The video earned Reebok 66,130 views,
88 thumbs up, 1 thumb down and 5 comments. The most successful video of the two
is the Adidas video. I came to this conclusion by considering at the amount of
views, thumbs up, comments and the description area of the of the video; where
Adidas incorporated links to their social sites while Reebok did not.
